Ruby Rose Jimenez was the sister of famous beauty queen-actress Rochelle Barrameda, but that's not really why she's famous now and why her mysterious death is infamous now. Her sister recently confirmed that the remains inside the cemented steel case recovered from the Navotas river was that of Ruby Rose. The tipster who informed the police is actually the killer who eventually confessed to personally killing her. According to reports, it was said that the killer was suffering from the taunts and hauntings of Ruby Rose that he couldn't take bearing the guilt anymore. He would rather suffer in jail than suffer the constant hauntings of her victim. He was said to have even confessed to knowing the perpetrators of his crime and the other related killings that the perpetrators planned, including the dumping of the bodies in similar steel cases in the waters of far away Indonesia. We will never know if there is a truth to this until the killer surfaces.

I work the graveyard shift at the office with several office mates. Our office is basically small so there are a lot of tables on the floor. One early morning (it was still dark outside) I was busy working something on the computer when suddenly a dark entity appeared before me whispering gibberish. Then the spectre suddenly disappeared! I then tried to wake up the girl beside me who was napping and asked her if she heard the whispers. She did not. But just about the same time, I heard two of my male office mates seated across from me talking to each other. One of them confessed feeling tremendous goosebumps but he did not see anything... certainly not the dark entity I saw infront of me. What was weirder was when I went to the restroom situated near my area, I mysteriously got locked in! For no apparent reason, the door wouldn't open. I was inside asking for help until an office mate heard my screams for help. I had to wait for around 30 minutes before they could pry the door open. - MARICEL M.

Is this life immitating Final Destination the movie? A woman who dodged death when she and her husband narrowly missed Air France Flight 447 before it plunged into the Atlantic Ocean, killing all 228 aboard, was killed in a car accident just over a week later. An Air France airliner carrying 228 people from Brazil to Paris crashed into the Atlantic after a possible lightning strike. Johanna Ganthaler a retiree from the Bolzano-Bozen province, was on vacation in Brazil with her husband Kurt when the pair miraculously missed the doomed flight to Paris. But their luck ran out on an Austrian road earlier this week when their car swerved into the path of an oncoming truck outside the town of Kufstein, the Times (U.K.) reported.

I work in HSBC in Commonwealth on graveyard shift. One night there was screaming in one of the elevators. It turned out that there were female employees scaring themselves with the story of another employee who once experienced something horrific in the same elevator. The guard I asked about it said that once a lady employee boarded the elevator from the 4th floor. When the doors closed the elevator suddenly stopped. Tinawagan n'ya 'yung guard downstairs using the emergency phone sa elevator. When the guard viewed her from the security camera, sinabi nung babae 'yung problem n'ya. The guard insisted na kaya ayaw gumalaw n'ung elevator is because fully loaded s'ya at needed na mag-unload ng passengers. The weird thing was the lady was alone in the elevator. She eventually fainted upon hearing the guard's advice.

I took this picture in one of the infamous landmarks in Baguio last Thursday. Me and some friends were all stoked to see what the hubbub was about. Upon arriving in front of the house, nakaramdam na ako ng kakaiba. Baguio can be cold, we all know that, but when we parked in front of the house with the intention of goofing around in the so-called haunted house, the temperature went down a little lower than usual. Tapos parang may nanonood sa amin sa loob. I left the car hesitant, pero dahil hindi ko gustong mapahiya tumuloy na rin ako at din na nagsabi na natatakot na ako. According to our driver, who is a local of Baguio, no one is living there anymore. A caretaker visits once in a while to clean, but that’s about it. This house has been featured in Magandang Gabi Bayan a few years back. According to the documentary the lady has been occupying this manor for as long as the neighborhood can remember.

Like any other tourist, I started taking pictures. The picture below took sometime for me to get because my camera started acting up and after trying several times it still would not work. Nung una di ko maintindihan kung bakit nagloloko ang camera ko. Full naman ang battery at marami pang space ang memory nito. I eventually turned it off and after a few seconds, I switched it back on at dali daling kumuha ng picture. When I realized what I was looking at, I jumped off my seat utterly frightened. The window is transparent because you can clearly see the wooden fixture from inside at the bottom of the window. So it is unusual for a face to appear in mid air, unless … -- MARIE JEAN EDA
