The tipster who informed the police is actually the killer who eventually confessed to personally killing her. According to reports, it was said that the killer was suffering from the taunts and hauntings of Ruby Rose that he couldn't take bearing the guilt anymore. He would rather suffer in jail than suffer the constant hauntings of her victim.
